The Great Wall
The only man made object visible from satellites in orbit, the wall remains one of man's most remarkable accomplishments. A walk along the enormous undulating towered and turreted wall is spectacular. Rising and falling in concert with the distance, the Great Wall consistently hills and undulating far of into the distance, the Great Wall consistently exceeds visitors' expectations. The amount of brick and stone employed to construct the Great Wall could circumscribe the earth with a dike eight feet high.
Temple of Heaven
Located in the southeastern section of Beijing, this masterpiece of Min architecture set in its own park is the Temple of Heaven. It is a masterpiece of 15th century architecture, built according to the most advanced principles of mechanics and geometry available at the time.

Inside the gates are three main structures: to the north is the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests; in the center is the Imperial Vault of Heaven; to the south is the Circular Mound Altar of Heaven. The whole complex is set within an extensive park enclosed by walls. Auxiliary buildings in the park today house a barracks, a radio station, and an open air theatre.

Mt Panshan
Located 12kms northwest of Jixian and about 100kms from the city center of Tianjin, Mt. Panshan is covered with exuberant forests and rich in historical and scenic spots. The mountains boast precipitous peaks and green valleys and extends to thousands of miles. It has been recoginized as one of the 15 greatest scenic spots of China and known as "The First Mountain East of Beijing".
Forbidden City
Magnificent and awe-inspiring, that is how every visitor would describe the Forbidden City, which served as the seat of imperial power during the Ming and Qing dynasties (1368-1911).

The Forbidden City stands in the center of Beijing. It is protected by high walls and a moat on all four sides and consists of dozens of halls and courtyards. The emperors of two dynasties, the Ming and the Ching, lived here with their families and hundreds of court ladies and palace eunuchs. From their throne in the Forbidden City they governed the country by holding court sessions with their ministers, issuing imperial edicts and initiating military expeditions.
