Hua Dong Region (East China inc Shanghai)

The Jade Buddha Temple was built around 1911 and contains a 2 metre high Jade Buddha. Please note photos are not to be taken inside.

The Yuyuan Gardens and Bazaar are located north east end of the Old Chinese city. It is one of Shanghai's most popular tourist attractions.

Longhua Pagoda is reputed to date back to the 10th century and has undergone
restoration. It is located south west of the city.

Lingyin Si "Temple of Inspired Seclusion" is Hangzhou's main tourist attraction. It was built around 325AD and has been destroyed and rebuilt several times due to waring fractions.
